We are a non-profit organization with a commitment to the education
 of the dog owner, potential dog owner, and non-dog owners in our community.


The objective of our club is to advance the principles and practices in the breeding of
pure-bred dogs; promote and conduct licensed dog shows and sanctioned matches
 under the rules and Regulations of the AMERICAN KENNEL CLUB, and to promote
 social and recreational activities in connection with dog breeding and exhibition.

"Speaker -  Dr. Pat Joyce"

A medical doctor specializing in infectious diseases, who works for a large
government agency next to Emory University.  She has long-term interests
in Tropical Medicine and in Zoonotic Diseases (diseases of animals transmissible
to man), and frequently lectures to physicians in graduate programs and the military.


DKC's Mission Statement
Promoting the sport of the purebred dog in the community through service,
education and sponsoring AKC events. Members show their commitment
by exemplifying good sportsmanship and ethical breeding practices.
